Project Mayhem comprises of the lyrical onslaught of MC Boomstick (Born in Inverness, raised in Middlesbrough but now Glasgow based), DJ Versatile (Born & raised in Middlesbrough but currently York based) & Producer Redragon (born & raised in The Orkneys, Dubai, Inverness & Glasgow before moving to Brighton where he is currently based).

Versatile & Boomstcik have known each other since their early teens in Middlesbrough but lost touch for a few years. Boomstick and Redragon crossed paths when Boomstick moved back to Inverness. There they formed the group Spirits of Vengeance before relocating to Glasgow. Versatile got back in touch and joined the group, shortly afterwards the name was changed and Project Mayhem was born.

Collectively they have supported international acts such as Ill Bill, DJ Eclipse, Slaine & Princess Superstar as well as UK heavyweights Blade, Foreign Beggars, Phi Life Cypher, Roots Manuva, Killa Kella, Dead Residents and many more.

In 2007 as well as touring in Germany Project Mayhem released their debut Creative Destruction EP. The eight tracks strong EP features guest appearance's form Jibbarish of Iron Bridge and Doap Nixion from Army of The Pharaohs plus a few others.
