Jamie Law a.k.a JayEll a.k.a Disciple Beats. Im known as these names around the Myspace scene but Jamie Law is the producer behind the 'Big Beats'. Myspace has really boosted my popularity over the last year and I have friends being added daily.

Ive been producing since I was about 15, just on the simple stuff but now that Im only 17, you may say that's still young but Ive got 2 solid years of it behind me and that also means many years to come.

I first started using a simple £20 program and the PC. Yet till this day I find the simplest programs come in handy now and then. Now Im still using the PC but in many different ways. Im using a little more advanced set-up now but as my experience grows Ill be looking to acquire more knowledge and more quality systems, hardware and different set-ups. Till then you'll still be hearing quality sounds and music. Coming soon will be a few tracks with a some of the Myspace crowd and some local acts in Aberdeen. This will hopefully boost my rep as a real producer around Scotland and I have couple of tracks lined up with acts around the UK as well.

My influences as a producer come from every where, literally. I First started listening to commercial American hip hop music. That's where my style comes from e.g. Kanye West, Diplomats to Pharrell and Rick Rubin. My style is definitely derived from these artist and producers but I always try to do something different when Im working on a beat. I Began listening to Granite Emcees and a few other acts around Aberdeen and that where I started getting more known around the Myspace scene and in Aberdeen. That really brings to today where I still producing hot music and there will be more to come.
